Akibank’s balance sheet profit up 28.6%

Based on 9M08 performance, Akibank’s balance sheet profit jumped 28.6% y-o-y to Rub 273.9 mln. Grand total came to Rub 19 bln and net assets amounted to Rub 14.7 bln. The lender’s credit portfolio reached Rub 12.1 bln, climbing 35% against Q307. Client funds grew to Rub 8.2 bln, including a spike in private deposits to Rub 3.5 bln.

According to the data from news agency Banki.ru and Interfax-CEA, as of July 1, 2008 net assets of Akibank stood at Rub 14.43 bln (138th place in Russia). The lending institution is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
