Sibneftebank said its license for a number of banking operations has been suspended.
Pursuant to the bank's materials, the lending institution is prohibited from investing drawn funds in corporate and retail loans, opening corporate accounts, opening deposit accounts, bank accounts and by selling its securities, and also to execute operations to buy/sell foreign currencies in cash and non-cash forms.
Banki.ru reported on May 21, 2015 that Sibneftebank ceased to process payments of legal entities. Materials of the bank itself showed that it plans to take rehabilitation measures.
When asked about retail deposits the bank's call center employees answered that today, May 25, the money is available for withdrawal by deposit holders.
