The bank’s own equity reached R1.084b (on January 1, 2007 — R1.055b), lending portfolio (commercial credits, discounted promissory notes, interbank credits) totalled R7.53b (R5.09b on January 1, 2007), client base (settlement accounts, settlement resources, private and corporate deposits, own promissory notes) — R10.72b (R7.79b on January 1, 2007). Of that amount, private deposits grew 73% to R4.85b.
