Kazan-based Intechbank sees net profit slide 22.7% in 10M08

PRIME-TASS. Intechbank reported a 22.7% decline in January-October 2008 against the same period a year ago to Rub 80 mln, while pre-tax profit slumped 19.8% to Rub 116 mln, the lending institution said in a statement Tuesday. Net profit slid on higher expenses of interest payments.

Grand total grew from Rub 6,040 mln as of January 1 to Rub 7,239 mln as of November 1, capital dropped from Rub 851.8 mln to Rub 826.3 mln, net loans due fell from Rub 4,258 mln to Rub 4,227 mln, funds attracted grew from Rub 4,364 mln to Rub 4,369 mln and private deposits increased from Rub 1,401 mln to Rub 1,480 mln.
