As of January 1, 2007, INTERPROMBANK’s own capital rose 13% year-on-year to R1.7 billion. Assets stood at R15.125b, increasing by 80% over the year. Account balances increased by 43% to R3.162b as of late 2006. The credit portfolio was up by 71% to R7.758b. The stock portfolio, including state and corporate securities, exceeded R5.0b. The pretax profit based on Russian accounting standards was at R378.256m, up 137%.
