Next year Bank VTB will not need any additional capital, the bank’s executive Andrei Kostin told reporters.
When asked whether or not the lender would need additional cash injections into the capital in 2010 he said Bank VTB won’t need them any way, adding the bank obtained a bundle of funds and capital is sufficient. Kostin noted the lending institution had weathered the crisis. “As for us, we’ve definitely overcome it," he said.
Also the bank’s chief executive officer thinks year 2010 will be more profitable for the bank than 2009. As regards profit the lending institution intends to earn next year Kostin noted profits will be solid, as before the crisis, both under IAS and RAS.
