The pace of banks’ lending of the non-financial sector of the Russian economy equaled nearly 17% on an annualized basis in May 2014, first deputy CBR chairwoman Ksenia Yudaeva said, a Banki.ru correspondent reported.
“We see that the pace of lending has accelerated. Lending of non-financial companies equaled 18% in April, nearly 17% in May compared to 12.7% as of year-end 2013," Yudaeva said, adding corporate lending is on the rise.
