Cypriot company NIKITAS BROKERAGE LIMITED has bought 9.63% of VOZROZHDENIYE shares. This is almost the entire volume of new share issue of the bank, accounting for 10% of the equity capital. The consultant is TROIKA DIALOG. The latter reportedly also owns the Cypriot offshore company. However, this time the company acts as a nominal holder of securities. Analysts believe that the real buyer is a major European bank, which is currently collecting a large shareholding in the VOZROZHDENIYE bank. Analysts name France’s SOCIETE GENERALE and Italy’s UNICREDIT as the likely buyers.
