Uniastrum Bank Draws $1.0 Mln in Daily Personal Deposits

​ MOSCOW, August 18 /PRRussia/ — The Uniastrum Bank is actively developing retail operations. The bank opens $1.0-million personal deposits daily. Due to the development of the bank’s branch network, personal time deposits placed in the first half of August increased by more than $10 million. As of early 2006, the Uniastrum Bank drew personal deposits totalling 5.926 billion roubles ($222m/E172m). As of July 1, 2006, the amount of funds drawn by the bank grew by nearly 67% to 8.887b roubles ($333m/E259m). The amount of a deposit placed with the bank averages 150,000 roubles ($6,000/$4,000).
