The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service in Moscow and the Moscow region will shortly instigate proceedings against LAITBANK and DEPOT BANK on charges of violation of the law on competition at the financial services market. Following an August 22 check of currency exchanges for compliance of the exchange rate declared on outdoor boards and displays with the rate asked for on the premises, facts of disparity of rates were established at the exchanges of LAITBANK and DEPOT BANK, which constitutes a breach of legislation.
