MOSCOW, October 24 /PRRussia/ — In the past nine months of 2006, the Bank of Moscow extended 28 billion roubles ($1.0b/E827 million) in credits to individuals, a 94% growth year-on-year. Personal deposits at the bank were up 13% Y/Y to 75.8b roubles ($2.8b/E2.2b). Loans towards car purchases currently account for 32.4% of the Bank of Moscows aggregate credit portfolio, fast credits on the basis of scoring 23.6%, consumer credits 23.3%, mortgages 12.6% and credit cards 7.8%. In the period under review Bank of Moscow branches accounted for 70% of its retail credit portfolio. As of October 1, 2006, the Bank of Moscow serviced 6.7 million individuals. The bank emitted over 6.5m Visa International and MasterCard International cards, including 4.3m Muscovite Social Insurance Cards. To date the Bank of Moscow has about 1,050 ATMs in Moscow and the provinces. The ATMs are being renovated and their number keeps rising.
