Personal deposits with Russian banks grew by 37.7% year-on-year, from R2.7546 trillion to R3.7935 trln, in 2006, the Federal Statistics Service said. SBERBANK’s share of the total personal deposit collection shrank by 1.8% to 53.5%. Early in 2007, rouble deposits with banks totalled R3.1636 trln and foreign currency deposits at R629.9 billion (in rouble equivalent). Corporate deposits with banks rose by 64.8% to R1.5435 trln.
