Russia’s UKRSIBBANK was renamed BNP PARIBAS VOSTOK, the Central Bank of Russia announced. The French BNP PARIBAS bank has two subsidiary banks in Russia: BNP PARIBAS and BNP PARIBAS VOSTOK. The head offices of both banks are located in Moscow. BNP PARIBAS focuses on investment banking, while BNP PARIBAS VOSTOK will mostly be engaged with retail banking.
