Russias SBERBANK has brought into operation ATMs with a deposit module, making it possible to exchange foreign currency cash. The first ATMs with the forex function are placed in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, and Nizhni Novgorod. By 2007s end, over 150 ATMs will be connected to conduct foreign currency exchange transactions, mainly in the southern and central federal districts of Russia. The new ATMs make it possible to exchange cash dollars and euros into roubles round-the-clock on week-ends and holidays in shopping and entertainment centers, airports, railway stations, and hotels.
