Bank Societe Generale Vostok (BSGV) opened for Uralsvyazinform two non-revolving credit lines for a total of Rub 1.5 bln. The telecom operator will use the loans to fund its current and investment activities. The credit lines were opened for 36 months. A relevant loan agreement was signed by the Ekaterinburg branch of BSGV.
For the record, in August 2008 Uralsvyazinform held an open tender, whose only bidder within two lots was BSGV. The telecom operator and the lending institution signed credit line agreements at the agreed interest rate, which was set at the monthly MosPrime rate plus 3%.
According to director of the Ekaterinburg branch of BSGV Alexey Pavin, “Uralsvyazinform’s high credit rating and a sterling credit history allowed the bank to offer financial resources at a very attractive interest rate that suited both parties”.
