The Bank of Russia has made calculations for the quota of foreign capital in the charter capitals of insurance companies. As of January 1, 2017 it stood at 19.77%.
Total funds invested by foreign insurers and their subsidiaries in the charter capitals of insurance companies reached Rub 42.8 bln in absolute terms, while total charter capital at Russian insurance companies is estimated at Rub 216.5 bln.
The Bank of Russia calculates and publishes this indicator annually.
