MOSCOW, October 27 /PRRussia/ — Calculated in accordance with the Bank of Russia’s Statute No. 215-P, Gazprombank’s RAS equity grew by 32% year-on-year to 57.8 billion roubles ($2.1b/E1.7b) in the past nine months of 2006. In 9M2006, Gazprombank had a pretax profit of 18.4b roubles ($686 million/E542m), a 24% rise Y/Y. Assets went up 37% Y/Y to 595.7b roubles ($22.2b/E17.5b). The bank’s receivables likewise increased by 28% Y/Y to 366.7b roubles ($13.7b/E10.8b), including loans to individuals up 99% to 18.9b roubles ($704m/E557m). Gazprombank is stable ranked among the top three Russian banks and fifth in Central and Eastern Europe.
