As news agency Banki.ru learned, an agreement was signed on August 4 to give a $27 mln 1-year syndicated loan to Binbank at LIBOR + 2.5%.
As the lending institution said in a press release, the sum of the syndicated loan exceeded the initially sought amount by 30%, and Binbank is to allocate the funds provided to finance foreign trade contracts.
Lead arrangers for the loan are Landesbank Berlin AG and Bank VTB. The syndicate included 6 banks: AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft m.b.H; Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft; VTB Bank (Deutschland) AG; Banque de Commerce et de Placements SA; BRE Bank SA and Probanka, d.d.
According to the data from news agency Banki.ru and Interfax-CEA, Binbank ranks 33rd among Moscow banks and is in 40th place in terms of assets (Rub 60.12 bln). The bank is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
