Credits issued by Russian lending organizations to various enterprises and organizations, banks and private individuals in roubles and foreign currency, including loans to foreign states, rose by 24.8% from January-July 2007 to R10.968 trillion on August 1. This was announced by the ROSSTAT statistics agency. Out of the overall credit investment, R7.2946 trillion were credits to enterprises and organizations, R665.4b — banks and R2.6792 trillion — private individuals. The share of credits, issued to enterprises and organizations for under year and more, grew to 50.1% of the overall volume of credits issued to them and distributed by due dates, as compared to 48.8% on July 1, 2007.
