MOSCOW, June 22 /PRRussia/ — Gazprombank in conjunction with Christies auction house has launched a new project to aid bank clients to take part in auctions by presenting them to the auction house, informing them of forthcoming auctions, effecting settlements and acting on behalf of its clients during auctions. Servicing client participation in the auction of a private collection of HRH the Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, held by Christies in London on June 13 and 14, was Gazprombanks first experience. The auction, in the course of which some of the lots were bought by Russians, had a broad international response. That project formed part of Gazprombanks art-banking line of services intended to help Russian collectors purchase and import cultural values and to create the art market infrastructure in Russia.
