RIA NOVOSTI. In May 2012 a trade surplus in the Russian Federation rose 1.3% from $15.4 bln in May 2011 to $15.6 bln, said the Ministry for Economic Development in its report on the countrys socio-economic development.
Based on the ministrys estimates, this May goods exports reached $44.1 bln and imports totaled $28.5 bln.
