The Moscow AVANGARD bank is issuing MASTERCARD chip cards, the bank’s press service reported. As before, the cards carry magnetic strips which allow bank clients to cash out funds or conduct other transactions in any ATMs and enterprises regardless of the type of the terminal. Chips enhance the cards’ security level and allow for off-line transactions. MASTERCARD Standard cards may carry six different colours to be selected by clients at will. The bank also offers cards with clients’ photos, thus enhancing the security level. AVANGARD issues chip cards under existing tariff plans and terms, charging no commissions for its services.
