The department for the Komi Republic at Russia’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) has terminated court proceedings against the Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development (MBRD) represented by the Syktyvkar regional branch (Komi Republic), the AFES insurance company and the Military Insurance Company. Court proceedings were closed after the companies voluntarily broke agreements that run counter to the law «On the Protection of Competition». During court proceedings, FAS stated that the companies reached agreements that called for coordinating tariffs used by the bank and the insurance companies and setting lowering coefficients in insuring property transferred to the bank as collateral. The companies broke the agreements and FAS terminated court proceedings.
