In the third quarter of 2007, the UNISTREAM international system posted the turnover of $1.145 billion, UNISTREAM analytical department said. UNISTREAM Bank is the system operator. The figure shows a 97% growth compared with the same period of 2006 when the system processed $581 million in transactions. So, the overall volume of transactions from January through September 2007 was $2.434b, up 90% compared with the first nine months of 2006 when the system conducted $1.3b transactions. The system increased its turnover from $99 million in the second quarter to $121m in the third quarter in Ukraine, from $139m to $200m, respectively, in Armenia, from $71m to $102m in Moldova and from $82m to $142m in Uzbekistan. In the first nine months the system performed more than two million transactions compared with 1.85m for the entire 2006.
