MOSCOW, September 4 /PRRussia/ — Promsvyazbank has issued over 8.0 billion roubles ($300 million/E230m) worth of credits to private clients as of July 1, 2006, an increase of 140% from 2006s start. According to Finance journal, Promsvyazbank ranks third in terms of retail lending growth rates among major Russian banks, issuing credits to the population.
According to Valery Kardashov, chief vice president in charge of retail business, the dynamics was due to a considerable rise in the sale of «mass» credit products, primarily in the regional network. The banks portfolio structure comprises consumer credits, auto loans, mortgage credits, education loans and untied express credits.
