In 2006, the VISA INTERNATIONAL payment system is to increase the Visa card turnover in retail and service centres in Russia by 60% year-on-year, VISA’s Russian representative office has reported. In 2005, the turnover was at $3.5 billion. The overall VISA turnover in Russia, including cash drawings, was equal to $43.8b in 2005.
