Russian credit bureaus now have some five million credit histories, according to data from the Russian Federal Service for Financial Markets (FSFM). Three leading credit bureaus have stockpiled about 99% of the credit histories. Experts say certain experience may be accumulated by Russian credit bureaus by this autumn, giving rise to amendments to the Russian law on credit histories. Earlier experts estimated the number of Russian credit histories to be 10 million by the end of this year.
