The Moscow AVANGARD bank has cut the rouble credit card rate from 14% to 12%. The credit card rate in US dollars and euros has remained unchanged at 12%. Commission for blocking settlements if the card is lost was reduced from R1,200 to R300 on MasterCard Standard/VISA Classic cards and from R1,800 to R600 on Gold cards. In addition, card holders may now change their PIN access code free of charge at bank’s ATMs. Clients may also file applications on the bank’s web site to increase the credit limit.
